I feel elated to pen this message to our website as the President of the one and only ?Royal College Group of 70?.

Needless to say, this dynamic group has brought immense joy and happiness to its own members and their families over the years whilst helping the needy across the country in our annual CSR projects.

Primarily, the group has focused on helping our Alma Mater and impoverished villages in many areas including the North and East.

The Executive Committee has always been extremely dynamic and united throughout and last year was no exception. It is heartening to note that local as well as overseas members and also our well-wishers have been willingly contributing to our projects to make these endeavours worth the while. My heartfelt thanks go out to all of you. I request you to continue to support us in our future activities too.

It is not incorrect to remind ourselves that we are growing old and have grown old over the years. Many good friends have left us early. In this fast moving scenario, it will be satisfying for us all to get involved in activities and projects that would help those who are in need. I am certain that you will continue to support us as you have done in the past.

I shall be failing in my duties if I do not thank Channa Jasenthuliyana and his team for their painstaking efforts in creating this user friendly website and uploading details and pics of all our events carried out by the Group periodically, amidst their busy schedules.

I am fortunate to have a motivated and steadfast Executive Committee comprising of dedicated and devoted individuals who continue to amaze me with their bonding and camaraderie. It is pertinent to mention that some of our senior groups are no more functional or active due to obvious natural reasons. The spouses too have embraced our culture and this is the very reason that we honour and host them every year at the AGM.

My heartfelt thanks to one and all.
