Providing a meal to the students of Ratmalana School for the Blind, is an annual event carried out by the ‘Royal College Group of 70’ (RC70) with the generous contributions received from the RC70 membership and well-wishers.
In previous occasions, this had been a dinner, entertained with music, singing and members and their families socialising with the children. This year due to COVID and complying with the COVID restrictions, lunch was provided and the members were kindly requested not to join at lunch.
Chicken Biriyani meals (as per the request of the students) were provided for 136 (students and staff). In addition, 150 Nos. of Chocolate slabs were also distributed among the children.
